REC  (Code: 532955) :- REC was established in 1969 and GOI has holding of almost 82 per cent in the company. The company is planning to provide finance services to creators of transmission and distribution network. Company has equity capital of Rs. 858.66 crores. During Q3 ended in December, 2008 company has earned net profit of Rs. 318.65 crores on gross sale of Rs. 1246.51 crores. High and low price of the stokc of the comapany is Rs. 126 and 54 respectively. It has EPS of Rs. 14.2. Stock quotes in current market at PE of 5.5. Investors should grab the opportunity to invest on the counter.
