It is expected to produce 0.7 mn mt sugar from cane in sugar season 2010 as compared to 0.64 million mt in the previous year. Consequently, including the processing and refining of raw sugar, sugar production of the company during the forthcoming sugar season 2009-2010 is expected to be around 1.4 mn mt.
BALRAMPUR CHINI MILLS CMP: Rs 126
Recently, the UP Electricity Regulatory Commission revised tariff for bagasse-based cogeneration plants for FY09-10 to FY13-14. Balrampur Chini will be a key beneficiary as it has 125.5MW capacity of saleable power. It is expected to sell around 52 crore units to the grid in FY10, resulting in an additional revenue of around Rs 46 crore.
