China’s Shanghai Composite was up 0.53% or 14.15 points at 2,686.04.
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng added 0.62% or 131.33 points at 21,268.76.
Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 0.37% or 33.59 points at 9,195.27.
Singapore’s Straits Times gained 0.56% or 16.48 points at 2,939.84.
South Korea’s Seoul Composite was up 0.34% or 5.97 points at 1,761.
Taiwan’s Taiwan Weighted sureged 0.31% or 24.96 points at 7,956.05.
